So let’s begin with discussing what Void actually is, and what it is best used for.
What is Void Gear in OSRS?

Differences Between Regular and Elite Void
There are similarities of sorts between regular and Elite void. For example, you will need to have the same combat skill levels to progress. Elite void also has the same defence bonuses compared to regular Void Knight equipment, however, it does differ in some ways also. For example, you can expect it to have a different appearance to the regular Void outfit. It also offers a +3 Prayer bonus, and gives extra damage boosts to mage and range sets if that’s something that would interest you.
However, now that we have an idea as to how to unlock the Void gear, and what the differences are between regular and Elite, we still need to know how we can get our hands on the Elite gear itself.
How to Upgrade to Elite Void OSRS
As expected, the Elite Void Knight equipment is an upgrade of the typical void set. You can get the Elite Void Top and Elite Void Robe once you have completed the Hard Western Province Diary. It will cost you 200 Void Knight commendation points for every piece of the Void set that you wish to upgrade. Given the advantages that we have previously discussed, it definitely worth considering upgrading to.
Void Mage Helm
It is going to cost you a grand total of 400 points to upgrade your Void Knight equipment to Elite. If you want to upgrade your Void pieces, then you need to head over to the Void Knights’ Outpost. Then, you will need to talk to the Elite Void Knight. You can find this character near the bank, often found pottering around the entrance of the Void Knights’ Outpost. If you have finished the Hard Western Provinces Diary, then you will have the ability to speak to her. So once you have done so, make sure you have the commendation points your require handy.
If you need to find the Void Knights’ Outpost, then it is located to the south of the map. Where you find Ape Atoll, search to the south-west, and you should find a small island. There are a few ways to reach this location, first of which is via Port Sarim, where you can speak to the Squire. Alternatively, you can get yourself a charged Amulet of glory, and then teleport to Karamja. Then, pay the 30gp to the customs officer, unless you have finished the first part of the Garden of Tranquillity quest, in which you should have the Ring of Charos to get you there for free. There is a third route too, in which you can reach the outpost by using the Minigame teleport system, then choosing Pest Control, and then using Teleport.
